SECOND BRAZIL
DJ EACH TOUR
JANUARY &
FEBRUARY
2005
Each, Magal & Oscar - 02/02/05 @ D-Edge/CIO night
Meeting to discuss the European Tour
In a bid to raise the profile of Control Arms in Brazil, following the huge successful of the first DJ Campaign tour, September 2004, Each, London-based DJ and Oscar Bueno, one of the biggest names in the underground music in Brazil, undertook a
club-to-club tour of the country in January 2005. Tour organiser: Luzia Laffoux
The tour, which coincided with the World Social Forum in Porto Alegre, Brazil, brought the campaign to many younger Brazilians. According to many locals since the first DJ Tour of Brazil there was a significant increase on the Control Arms Campaign over there by non-governmental organizations.
The presence of Oxfam and Amnesty International in the WSF was the missing boost for the campaign in Brazil.
Working with Control Arms Brazilian partners, Sou da Paz volunteers gathered 217 signatures in support of the campaign. People were queuing up to have their picture taken for the Million Petition.

24/01 - Sao Paulo - Love Club
22/01 - Sao Paulo - D-Edge (Paradise After Hours Party)
21/01 - Rio de Janeiro - Fosfobox
Now a new Dj Each tour is being organized, this time in Europe, with Dj Magal, elected best electro DJ in 2004 by DJ Sound Magazine Brazil & Oscar Bueno. The aim is to gain a huge media coverage, in Brazil and around the world, calling the attention for the referendun on gun control, settled to happen in Brazil in October 2005.
A big thanks to all club owners, club managers, promoters, journalists, Sou da Paz volunteers and friends, who made their best for this dj campaign tour to be a great success.
